Disa Global Solutions has announced a membership of the Women in Trucking Association (WIT), a non -profit organization dedicated to encouraging the employment of women in the truck transport industry, enhancing its achievements, and removing the barriers that hinder its success. This corporate membership is in line with our commitment to enhancing diversity, inclusion and equality in the transport sector.
Who are women in truck transport?
Women in Trucking Association is a pioneering organization that calls on women in the truck transport industry by providing resources, guidance, education and communication opportunities. Since its foundation, I worked hard to increase the number of women at all levels of truck transport, from drivers to executives. Their mission is hesitating with companies that strive to build a fair and welcome work, which makes it an ideal organization for Disa to cooperate with it.
Why Disa became part of women in truck transport

The transport sector usually dominates males, and we believe in the importance of enabling women to follow up and prosper in professions within truck transport. To be a member of Wit that enables us to contribute usely to this task by providing compliance solutions, safety experience and workforce development resources to help companies create a comprehensive environment.

On November 12, 2024, our MIA HICKS, and Disa Risk Director of Disa is a force at the Conference of Women in Truck Transport, and a session entitled Test of Drugs and Alcohol – what you need to know. Its presence in this event affirmed our commitment to defending women in truck transport, as it participated in valuable visions on industry challenges, compliance solutions, and strengthening the safest work environments. Its contribution was not only strengthened by the Disa role in ornament, but also strengthened the importance of enabling women’s leaders in this field.
