
Volvo Trucks is the leader in the heavy electrical truck sector (16 tons and above) in Europe for the fifth year in a row. The company obtained a 47 % sector share at the end of 2024 and a Volvo electric truck in Europe was registered during the year. The five best markets for Volvo Electric trucks in 2024 were Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden, Norway and Switzerland. Volvo Trucks also has a pioneering center in North America, with a heavy electric truck slice share of more than 40 % in 2024.
“We are proud to provide a shift to the transmission of zero emissions. We have a very strong electric truck port for regional transport, city and construction. Our following electric trucks will to the market with longer distances up to 600 km on one charge,” says Roger Volvo.

Volvo Trucks, which started serial production of electrical trucks in 2019, is now 8 electric trucks embroidery in their product range and provided more than 4,800 electric trucks in total for customers all over the world.
“The fingerprint of our electric trucks is increasing quickly. Our total fleet has now reached more than 140 million kilometers in customer operations worldwide.
