At a technical summit in Washington, President Trump declared, “America is the country that started the race of artificial intelligence and President of the United States, I am here today to announce that America will win it.” The strategy determines the efforts made to enhance innovation, promote American infrastructure, and set international standards for developing artificial and security intelligence.
According to Indexbox data, the artificial intelligence market is expected to suffer from significant growth, as sectors such as health care, energy, agriculture and national defense are preparing to benefit from the integration of artificial intelligence. The plan emphasizes the support of American workers through re -training, ensuring that artificial intelligence completes instead of replacing it with human work.
The executive, which was issued on the deadline approved for a period of 180 days to develop a comprehensive strategy of artificial intelligence, includes three main columns: acceleration of innovation, infrastructure building, diplomacy and leading international security. The White House and Technology Director Michael Kratsuz and AI Consultant David Sachs highlighted these columns as the main ingredients for the administration’s vision.
Trump’s plan also reflects an executive of the Biden era, which has imposed restrictions on strong artificial intelligence techniques, on the pretext that innovation is “very important to strangle the bureaucracy at this early stage.” However, critics raised concerns about the integrity of artificial intelligence, transparency and user’s privacy.
Kaplan pointed out that China is the main American competitor in AI, which confirms the importance of initiatives such as Trump to maintain a competitive advantage. With the development of the scene of artificial intelligence, the United States aims to lead the standards and frameworks that will direct future developments.
