Ride services on Kewprode passengers ’services grew by 84 % on an annual basis and on the services between cities by 48 %. Lisbon passenger network continues to represent the largest percentage of the total CP traffic, which carries a total of 68 million passengers in the first half of this year.
Green travel pass on those sections of Lisbon and Porto passengers can be used outside the area covered by the multimedia public transport passes for these cities. Conditional shift to railways was encouraged during the first six months of this year by reopening the traffic on the passengers between the line between Porto and Lexa and Mangawadi – Silorio Da Pera in a section of the Beira Alta line, and Melifira – Malfira – Torres Vadras from the western line from Cacém to Figue Da Foz.
This reflects the high demand, CP provided last month more Lisplants services between cities on Saturday and public holidays.
