The French logistics solution provider, CMA CGM, launched the second edition of the company’s startup awards to identify and support startups that are the most innovative in the areas of maritime transport, logistics and media.
Entrepreneurs around the world are now invited to submit their applications by October 3 on the Zebox website, the technology incubator at CMA CGM. The company said that the winners will receive opportunities to cooperate with CMA CGM, benefit from exposure to the media through CMA Media, and receive personal support.
Among these entries, about 40 startups will be chosen to participate in the final round, which will be held in Tangram, the CMA CGM training and innovation center in Marseille, on November 13. Throughout the day, they will run before a jury of members of the members of the Executive Committee and experts in the sector, with one winner of each challenge. The international competition was organized in partnership with BFM Business and La Tribune, part of the Marseille (AIM) forum, where the winners are announced on November 14.
In this year’s competition, CMA CGM seeks to obtain leading solutions to face strategic challenges in four areas:
- Displacement and transmission expectations: The design is accessible and intelligent and intelligent to monitor flows and expect disturbances.
- Safe and compatible transportation for dangerous commodities: providing innovative techniques to ensure the safety and compliance of sensitive goods and employee well -being.
- WAREHOUSE HUMANOID ROBIOTICS: Integration of human robots capable of performing complex tasks – continuously or in cooperation with humans – in automatic warehouse settings.
- Media experience diversifying and identifying income: Imagine new formats and revenue forms to enhance public participation and develop sustainable business models.
The event of this year is the second year of startups. The 2024 competition included more than 400 requests from all over the world and 60 contestants in the selected finals from 12 countries. Seven startups were granted to distinguish their solutions: Aerleum, ELONROAD, GBMS and Zero44 in maritime transport; Logistics or Optioryx in logistical services; And Ariel in the media.
