It is planned to interborough Express (IBX), which will serve 900,000 people in Queens and Brooklyn.
The Metropolitan Transport Authority (MTA) has chosen a joint project on Jacobs and HDR to provide engineering consulting services for the Interborong Express (IBX) in New York City.
The proposed font will be turned on a distance of 22.5 km, from Bay Ridge in Bruckelin to Jackson Heights, Queens, using the Bay Ridge Branch for the Long Island Road (LIRR) and the CSX high school.
The new light railway will offer about 900,000 people living along the way, call 17 metro lines and Lirr, and offers a comprehensive trip of 40 minutes. It is expected to use 115,000 passengers every day.
The joint project will lead to design development, recharge integration processing, tunnel update, and main bridge modifications, with advice also to the delivery strategy and operational readiness studies.
New York State Governor, Cathy Hochol, issued instructions to MTA to move forward in the development of the project in 2022. The authority says the light railway was chosen because it provides “the best service for passengers with the best value.”
