The Czech operator will deploy 18 trains and 16 trains of three cars on fast services between Prague and Central and North Bohemia from December 2029.
The škoda group has confirmed the signing of a contract with the private Czech private operator to supply 34 multi -standard units.
The value of the deal, announced at the end of August, is more than Koruna 9 billion (440 Americans) and consists of 18 trains and 16 trains of three cars. Each train will be equipped with a small diesel engine for the last miles and recharge the battery.
The trains will be based on the Panter platform for škoda and it has a 3KV dual traction system and a 25 -kV traction system for up to 160 km/h in electrical mode. They will also have a speed battery at a speed of up to 120 km/h on unsuccessful lines. Publishing is expected to reduce CO2 Emissions up to 19,000 tons annually.
Two car groups will get 120 sites sitting and the three trains will be 197 seats. Each train will include a business degree with 10 seats in the release of two cars and 16 in a train of three cars. Passengers will also benefit from the plane, air conditioning, modern passenger information systems, Wi-Fi, and charging of electronic devices.
Each train will be equipped with ETCS, and škoda says that advanced systems to improve energy consumption and ensure a smooth transmission between operating modes. A distance monitoring system will improve maintenance costs and increase operational reliability.
REGIJET will publish the new fleet on the fast train services between Prague and central and northern Bohemia. PSO contract will start for 15 years to change the schedule in December 2029 and has a total annual size of 4.5 million km.
“With the new trains and the gradual update of the calligraphy, we will provide faster contacts for travelers,” says Radim Janura, the owner of Regiojet. “The journey between Pardubice and Liberec will be about half an hour. Our customers can look at modern travel -free and high -quality service that they know from our yellow trains.”
