Danish Talgo 230 trains authorized

The European Union of Railways (ERA) has granted a market license (APOM) to coaches currently transported in Talgo 230. The permit allows both Denmark and Germany.

A total of 16 groups of coaches, in addition to 16 driving trailers, are arranged from the Spanish manufacturer, with the first eight groups to enter the service soon. The remaining coaches, including all the driving trailers that will require a separate license, will be delivered by 2027.

ERA APOM has released for different types of trainers who make up each train: the final car, the access to PRM and two types of intermediaries. The practical mandate confirms at a maximum speed of 230 km/hour and a half diameter of the minimum curve of 135 meters, with final cars required at both sides of the train, and a transport is limited to the locomotives equipped with the control system of the wire train bus (WTB).

DSB has already contains a fleet of 200 km/h multi -hour system for the transportation of new trains, which will be published on the services of Copenhagen/Arhus – Hamburg. DSB and German railways (DB) did not announce when they will enter the service.

“These new DSB trains will create more international contacts from Denmark to Europe in the future,” says Jurgen Muller, Executive Vice President of Strategy and stocks at DSB.

Ice L delivery begins

Earlier this summer, DB APOM received from his era for their vocal coalition coaches, who are currently being constructed by Talgo, although this only covers the process inside Germany.

Talgo is still getting APOM that enables the new fleet to work in the Netherlands and Austria and on a short scale of the line that connects Germany and Switzerland in Basel, as well as a separate mandate for driving trailers.

Talgo started introducing the first batch of 23 trains to DB, out of a total of 79 years, with a train that is scheduled to be presented to the public in Berlin later this month, before entering the trains entering the service of revenue in changing the schedule in December.

As production is running behind the schedule, the first category 105 locomotives that Talgo is expected to be transported by transporting these trains next year. DB will use MS Vectron within.
