Siemens wins the first seminarity arrangement from Türkiye

Siemens Mobility has announced the first arrangement of its Vectron platform from Turkey, according to which the AkDoğan Cargo charging operator will receive five multi -systems electric locomotives in the Vectron MS system, designed to work up to 200 km/hour.

The request, whose value has not been disclosed, includes a 10 -year contract, with options to extend the period for up to two years and buy five additional locomotives at the Vectron MS.

Siemens says that the shipments of the Akdogan train will publish new locomotives on the cross -border services to countries including Germany, Austria, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Croatia, and Serbia, as well as in home services. Delivers are scheduled to start at the end of 2027.

For border publication, locomotives will be equipped with ETCS foundation 3, as well as the relevant national train protection systems. The new Vectron fleet will also contain the Siemes Xload package to improve traction and transport capacity, as well as Railcover and Railigent X using data analysis in actual time to provide artificial intelligence -based fleet maintenance.

Alpha trains

According to a framework agreement signed in July 2024 to supply up to 70 different species that included a request for 35 locomotives, Alpha Trains, which rented shares, requested 15 locomotives in Vectron Dual Mode. It is equipped with a diesel engine to provide up to 2 megawatts on the wheel in diesel mode as well as the electrical mode of up to 2.4 megawatts.

Thanks to the maximum speed of 160 km/h, the new locomotives will be deployed in Germany and Austria and will be preserved under a service contract signed from Alpha and Siemens trains in 2023. production will be held at the Siemens Mobility factory in Munich Alsh.
