The INTERNATIONAL Railway Journal invites nominations for its fourth annual Young Railway Leaders Award. Winning candidates will be profiled in a special article in the December issue of the magazine and on Railjournal.com throughout the month of December.
Winners will be judged on their experience, contribution to the industry, leadership, volunteer activity and going above and beyond in their daily tasks. All nominees must be under 40 years of age on January 1, 2026. Self-nominations are welcome.
“We aim to feature a wide range of people in the Young Rail Leaders Award, and it is not just for CEOs and executives, although nominations from high-profile people are very welcome,” says Kevin Smith, IRJ editor-in-chief. “Our aim is to highlight the achievements and value that talented young people in this sector bring to the global rail industry. We hope their stories will inspire others to achieve amazing things.”
Nominations are open until November 6 via the link below. We look forward to reading the nominations and selecting the winners.
