Brussels Airport (BRU) is closed to all departing flights today, due to airport workers supporting a one-day national strike in Belgium against the government’s “austerity” measures.
However, the impact on cargo traffic appears limited, with an Airport Authority spokesperson telling The Loadstar that only five cargo flights out of 50 flights were canceled today.
