The Swiss handling provider in the field of InterroLL solutions said today that it has acquired Sorteq BV, a Netherlands -based startup that is complemented by the CBS (CBS) product (CBS) and is expanded by the current Sorter platform in Interrat.
More specifically, the Standard Sorteq technology allows the formations of the new system and expand the scope of productive ranges, especially in logistical services for expulsion, mail and e -commerce. The leading CBS features an effective design in space capable of dealing with up to 10,000 parcels per hour.
The conditions of the deal were not revealed, but Interroll said that the step accelerates innovation, closes the gaps of the product, and enhances the portfolio of global solutions.
With the integration of Sorteq’s CBS Sorter, Interroll can now provide a smooth productive sorting spectrum, allowing customers to cover a wide range of productivity levels, types of objects and automation goals. The improved portfolio is ideal for sectors that require the flexibility and ability of expansion and reliability in sorting performance, such as: CEP, storage and distribution, fashion, retail trade, supermarket, and electronic operations.
After the deal, the founders of Sorteq will continue to contribute to their technical experience as advisers to benefit, with a focus on the progress of development and support for the manufacture of chain belt ceramics within the international interray.
