The sensor institute for logistical and transportation services seeks to connect the global railway professionals to exchange knowledge and experience.
The Carted Institute for Logistics and Transport Services (CILT) has established the CIT International Railways. The new international professional network aims to combine railway professionals from all over the world to exchange knowledge and exchange ideas and cooperation in the main challenges and opportunities facing the industry.
Cile describes the group as “a real international community that supports professional growth while enhancing the role of railways to provide economic, social and environmental benefits.”
Among the challenges that the group seeks to address are capacity, communication, costs, benefits, sustainability and innovation.
The launch was announced during the Cile International 2025 conference held in Colombo, Sri Lanka, last month. The group and its leadership Andrew Young, the international Vice President of the Cilec Amers, and the IRJ’s shareholder, who will head the group, along with Darren King, is a member of the Cile UK and the WSP strategic railway consultant, who will work as a vice -president.
The railway professionals are invited to join the group for free to follow the link on the Cile Global Rail Group Group.
