Increased volumes are leading to significant delays at the Port of Tangier, with freight forwarders telling The Loadstar they are facing weeks-long waits and multiple replenishments.
Last year, the Moroccan gateway rose to the list of the top 20 global ports, in terms of handling volume, after handling more than 10 million TEUs for the first time – but this rise has put significant pressure on the port’s box terminals.
