
The market demand index rose to 85.4 – its strongest level in seven weeks – mainly due to the flat
Data from TruckStop and FTR Transportation Intelligence for the week ending on February 28 showed that the voting sites of the broker to control dry equipment and refrigerated equipment have mostly resumed their seasonal declines after one week of increases. The price of the refrigerated category has decreased to its lowest level since April 2023. The prices of van have been dry at their second levels since October, although it was the highest year on year on the first time since the first week of this year. Flat metal prices, which are still slightly lower than the previous year, have risen to its highest level since late July, and the flat size has been the strongest since July 2022. This week (the week that ends on March 7), flat and dry van rates usually rise, while cooling rates have often decreased in recent years.
